Well this is me asking you to help me to reach as many hearts as possible with unconditional hope by sharing www.hope4theheartalways.com with the people in your life, on your blog, Facebook page or whatever social media is your preference. My passion is to see hearts set free to hope. Will you help me?
To that end I’ve re-organized my site to make it easier to find “hope weapons”, hope for specific challenges, and to let new readers know why I’m writing. The new content for my “About” page is below.
Thank you for reading, for following and for sharing!
Hello if you are here, I am guessing you are looking for hope. I have good news, there is unconditional hope. Let’s just say life has given me lots of opportunities to learn from experience. Whether I learned to hope or to be bitter was my choice. So if you are looking for hope, keep reading.
Let me introduce myself.
- Do I have days where life just seems too hard? Yes.
- Do I have days where I go what the heck is going on? Yes.
- Do I have days when I want to give up? Yes.
- Do I have days when I look around and see the pain in other peoples lives and my heart aches for them? Yes.
- Do I have days when there seems to be more pain than there is joy? Yes.
- Do I have questions without answers? Yes.
- Do I have days when my heart is breaking? Yes.
- Do I have days when I am sick and tired of being sick and tired? Yes.
- Do I have days when I wonder how can I write about hope when I feel like this? Yes.
What’s the commonality with all those questions? On everyone of those days I also have a choice. That is why this website is here; to share with you the choices I have learned about so that regardless of circumstances you can come to know as I have come to know that there is always hope.
This website is a place where if you have any of the same questions or maybe even some I haven’t thought of — you are welcome here. It is a place to be real with yourself; real with God and find real answers.
I don’t know about you – but my “go to” was “be strong” and will-power my way through whatever challenge I was facing. People around me would try to encourage me with the same advice “be strong”. It wasn’t working for me. I discovered pushing myself to “be strong” and putting on the mask of “everything is ok/will be fine” just put a barrier between my heart and my Heavenly Father’s comfort. I was trying to manufacture my own hope. However, when I chose to be real and transparent with myself and my Heavenly Father, it opened the connection for my heart to connect with His heart and find real, unconditional hope.
What I have found is if I will allow my heart to express whatever feelings I’m experiencing rather than suppress those feelings and beat up my heart with what I know intellectually and have been taught – whether those feelings are unbelief, anger, fear, doubt, grief, pain [you know – any and all of those feelings that our enemy would have you believe make you a failure as a christian] – that expression becomes my “cry out to God” as Paul writes in Ephesians and
“it gives me a mind ready to receive wisdom and revelation
so that I may truly know my Heavenly Father.
It opens the eyes of my heart, to let the light of His truth flood in.
Being real and transparent allows Him to shine His light
on the hope to which He is calling me to embrace.
It reveals to me the glorious riches He is preparing as my inheritance.
It allows me to see the full extent of His power
that is at work in those of us who believe,
and come into agreement with His might and power in my life.
Friends, it is this same might and resurrection power that our Heavenly Father used
in the Anointed One to raise Him from the dead and
to position Him at His right hand in heaven.
There is nothing over Jesus.
He’s above all rule, authority, power, and dominion;
over every name invoked, over every title bestowed in this age and the next.
God has placed all things beneath His feet and
anointed Him as the head over all things for His church.
(Ephesians 1:17-23 – The Voice).
Now that is unconditional hope!
Does that mean my situation changes immediately? Sometimes it does change in the natural immediately, but not always.
What does change is my heart. Hope gives me the courage to have faith and faith is the doorway to connecting to God’s promises to me and to open the resources of heaven to invade my world to destroy the torment of “is that all there is”. NO. Hope tells me there is more. Just like the sunrise tells me there will be another day.
“Those who know how to reign in life with godly wisdom
will become the shelter for those who need to learn.”
Bill Johnson
That is my desire for www.hope4theheartalways.com that it would facilitate godly wisdom that helps us to reign in life because we have unconditional hope and to be the shelter for those who don’t yet have it.
Welcome to hope4theheartalways.
